We invite you to this very informative presentation by immigration attorney Antonio Massa Viana on Wednesday, November 19th from 6:30-8 PM. “Restoring the Promise” is a non-partisan, community-based discussion that invites participants to reflect on the impact of current immigration policies, the way immigration has shaped our nation and the constitutional questions that affects both non-U.S and U.S citizens alike. Through real-life stories, legal insight and historical analysis, the program explores what the Constitution guarantees in terms of legal rights and legal protections, why our immigration system is ineffective and needs reforms, myths and realities about immigration, and why ignoring immigration abuses today opens the door to broader civil rights violations tomorrow. There will be dialogue with the audience including Q&A at the end. Registration is needed; please fill out the form below.
